Microsoft enters the legal marijuana industry

In yet another telltale sign that legal marijuana is slowly going corporate, Microsoft now plans to market software to help cannabis businesses keep track of their sales. The behemoth tech company announced a partnership this week with Los Angeles-based startup Kind to offer track-and-trace software to the nascent cannabis industry, the New York Times reports.
